Another Friday The 13th!
Happy Friday the 13th to "Y'all" , I should be set up with a new computer very soon so I can get back to the grind.
Ray Hope and the boys of Fenton Arms are in Baltimore tonight for their first gig opening for Talib Kweli. The venue spelled their name wrong on the gig flyer, the fuckers, I'm sure they will give one hell of a performance as they have been hard at it day and night.

I finally got this finished for Lazy, I think it's bad ass. What a trip down memory lane, I went through hundreds and hundreds of pictures and images to do the background. Those were some crazy times, did we ever do it up, pure insanity! Thanks Pineault for the pictures you sent me, they are gems!

Everyone should go listen to The Rebel Spell, amazing punk band from Vancouver, they have a media player on their site with loads of songs, in particular December 8, 1980 a great song about the Lennon Assassination.

My dad e-mailed this to me, I have been so consumed in an art project (more to come) I haven't had time to really get into this whole government overthrow thing. Do your thing, you all know how I feel about our dear leader. Anyway, here's a letter to the editor I found amusing...
Let me see if I have this all straight.
The NDP had already hatched a plan for a bloodless coup d’etat prior to the economic statement by Mr. Flaherty.
It apparently didn’t matter that Canadians just voted and elected Mr. Harper. Mr. Layton doesn’t care that we just had a $300 million election.
Mr. Dion announced his intention to step down, but the coup will put him into the Prime Minister’s office even though he got the fewest votes of any Liberal since Confederation.
The Bloc Quebecois holds the balance of power and the key to government stability. Hang on, do I have this right? Mr. Duceppe is the defacto Prime Minister in this game of political monopoly?
So, to recap:
Mr. Harper won, but really lost the election. Mr. Layton lost, but actually won. Mr. Dion quit but is going to be Prime Minister. And Mr. Duceppe is laughing his backside off because he is the one who is really in charge of the stability of Canadian government while being committed to breaking up the country.
Hmmm. I just wanted to make sure I understood all of it.
